Each business trip involves many parameters to worry about. Besides finding the best booking options for flights, hotels and transportation, employees also have challenging situations to face. These include missing a flight, full booked hotels, filling out expense forms on time and many more.

To better understand users needs, I conducted multiple interviews and framed questions to allow for conversation that provided insights into the feelings and experiences associated with business travels. I analyzed responses to find a general pattern from these interviews and found three interesting evidence 

Users Interview

Of Interviewees wish they'll 24/7 support in case their flight was canceled, the hotel forgot about their reservation or for any other issue which might occurs during their trip.

Of Interviewees wish to save time in airports in terms of navigating the gate or to a restaurant and pre order items from the duty free.

Of Interviewees doesn't have time to look into the bookings proposal they got from the travel agent and often don't choose the best offer for them in terms of flight duration, plan seats, hotel proximity to the local office etc. They wish to get feedback from other business travelers  in order to make their booking decision easier.

Project Details

To design mobile app interface product that empowers the travel experience for employees, by giving the sense they have a travel agent in their pocket who assist them to manga their trip.

How might we make the flight experience less stressful and make it into a  rewarding experience?

How would this app differ from existing traveling and booking platforms?

A mobile product tailored for companies who wish their employees manage their business trips in one place and save company’s expense by offering the by the best booking selection options and support them when there is a need.

User Journey

After analyzing the problem statement and learning a bit more through interviews about the behavior and needs of our main users, I started to map out the journey through a simple flow chart to make sure I cover all of the steps in order to reinforce my decisions. This helps me to have holistic visibility of their path from the moment of sign up to success.

Market Research

After understanding users needs, I have researched the market for similar products to try to understand if and how they manage to solve the problem I have identified. In my research, I examined multiple booking apps, expense management and e-commerce applications as well as other app which provide Augmented reality navigation and online database of information related to films and streaming content such as Netflix, IMDb and more. Here are the main key point I have learned from similar fields apps

Easy navigation for searching flight, hotel and transportation.

User should be imminently notified on booking cancellation, flight delay etc. via push notification and receive solutions from support via chat or call.

Enable the purchase from the duty free and items collection from main location points in the airports.

Wireframes 

The next step was to create logic and coherent wireframes. From logging in, managing new trip or adding bookings to existing one, to expense management, ordering items from duty free and navigating inside the airport using augmented reality.

services , seat's dimension, price etc. and pay with company's credit card.

You can choose  your entertainment and meals in order to make your flight more enjoyable.

You can reach quickly to your gate by using augmented reality navigator and learn where is your favorite store. Your boarding pass is always in reach.

MAXIMIZE YOUR  FLIGHT EXPERIENCE 

You are going to spend a lot of time in the airport and plane as part of your trip. You can manage this time better, by shipping your baggage directly to the hotel or buy perfume from the duty free and collect it at your gate.

Choose your favorite T.V shows and film for your flight for saving time in the airport. You can purchase items from the duty free and ask to ship your baggage directly to your hotel.

Understanding the flow

I started with a high-level flow. I focused on the most complicated flow and validated it with all my different users cases.

Low-fi Wireframes 

Before embarking onto preliminary user testing and high fidelity mockups, I brainstormed on potential UI designs, illustrating wireframes to get a feel for the app and its core features.
